“I do not expect to be believed simply because it is I who am saying this; there are many people who do not listen to reason, but will listen only to those who wear the cassock or have gray hair or no teeth; but while it is true that the aged should be venerated, because of their travails and experience, yet the life I have lived, consecrated to the happiness of the people, adds some years,...

Everyday is a battle I face.
Strange life I live, but it’s what you’ve decided. I give it all into your hands, Do what you will, with me. And I’ll, I’ll smile when you speak Remember those times I was hoping for something? And shaking my head from all that I’ve done But you never left me.

A poem by the Lord Alfred Tennyson The Dying Swan Part III.  The wild swan’s death-hymn took the soul Of that waste place with joy Hidden in sorrow: at first to the ear The warble was low, and full and clear; And floating about the under-sky, Prevailing in weakness, the coronach stole Sometimes afar, and sometimes anear; But anon her awful jubilant voice, With a music strange and manifold,...

Dying
DYING, you have left behind you the great sadness of the Eternal in my life.  You have painted my thought’s horizon with the sunset colours of your departure, leaving a track of tears across the earth to love’s heaven. Clasped in your dear arms, life and death united in me in a marriage bond. I think I can see you watching there in the balcony with your lamp lighted, where the end...

It is great to note that placing information regarding Council in Facebook is not in vain as it’s easier for other organizations to find and contact our college for participation in projects and the like. That way, the college does get to bridge out and experience more. There’s always a bigger world out there waiting to be discovered.

On to urgent matters
I have come to the conclusion that when other things don’t make sense just yet… Envelop one’s self in the things that you can make sense of. (This frustration on whether yes I ought to write or no, is getting me fucking no where…)  On to urgent matters. If these can be considered more urgent and more important! Compartmentalization, on.

–  Sri Aurobindo (via andrewharlow) Part of what I was thinking of today.  Exactly how I feel as if I can be pulled to two extremes, within a split second. The problem though with that statement, is that I keep feeling. Perhaps there is a lack of doing.  There needs to be a sense of following...

What's the point of having an idea, when you can't...
I don’t want to get stuck in this whole having ideas and leaving them behind to rot in my notebook. There needs to be a better way in which ideas are expressed more fluidly and communicated purposely and in a definite manner.

You're A Keeper by Elise Mendoza
You’re A Keeper Dear friend, you are a keeper.  You might not feel like one right now,  because of how he has simply come and gone,  because of all the things left unsaid,  because of how he doesn’t seem to be shaken up at all  while you are left in a daze.  But trust me, you’re a keeper,  and my opinion is much more valid  than a silly little boy’s.  I can call him a...

Sorrow
‎”It is the pang of separation that spreads throughout the world and gives birth to shapes innumerable in the infinite sky. It is this sorrow of separation that gazes in silence all nights from star to star and becomes lyric among rustling leaves in rainy darkness of July. It is this overspreading pain that deepens into loves and desires, into sufferings and joy in human homes; and this it...

Beautiful architecture has none of the unambiguous advantages of vaccine or a bowl of rice. Its construction will hence never be raised to a dominant political priority, for even if the whole of the man-made world could, through relentless effort and sacrifice, be modelled to rival St Mark’s Square, even if we could spend the rest of our lives in the Villa Rotonda or the Glass House, we...
